Tygerberg Rock and Surf

Tygerberg Rock and Surf was formed in the 90's when two clubs , Liesbeeck Park angling Club and Sanlam Angling Club decided to merge together and form a new club called Tygerberg Rock and Surf , a new era was born and the new club immediately showed what it was made of and ended first in the league for that season , as the years progressed , Tygerberg stood the test of time and became one of the three top clubs in the WCSAA , which delivered an number of top WP anglers and also contributed to all the various WP teams in the league .

Tygerberg Rock and Surf doesn't just believe in the competitive side of fishing and also encourage the social and relaxing part of angling and therefore we have our own Club Competitions inside the club , where we as a Club would go away for weekend to different destinations and just enjoy the time next to the ocean , competing against each other or just enjoying the weekend away with family and friends and sharing the mystery's of the deep blue and its sacred species .

Tygerberg Rock and Surf are affiliated at the WCSAA and believe conservation and tag and release is the way of the future and that the protection of our marine recourses is the only way that this awesome sport will continue existing for generations to come .
